Swiss Timing is the global leader in sports timekeeping. As a company of the Swatch Group, we deliver precision timing, scoring, and data-handling services for major events across more than 100 disciplines worldwide.

Although Swiss Timing was officially founded in 1972, the roots of our company can be traced back almost a century to the heritage of our Swatch Group sister brands, Omega and Longines.

Since 1932, Omega has been trusted as the Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games – and that legacy remains a cornerstone of the Swiss Timing story. The partnership with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has been vital in shaping the development of modern sports timekeeping and has led to many breakthrough innovations and essential timekeeping equipment that is still relied upon today.

The watchmaker, Longines, has also served as Official Timekeeper of the Olympic Games, either on its own or alongside Omega. Their historic excellence and reputation for precision has further evolved in sports including alpine skiing, motor racing, and most famously - equestrian.

In July 1972, Omega and Longines combined forces to solidify Swiss dominance in timekeeping. Signing the Swiss Timing founding documents in July of that year, the specialists of both brands eventually came together under the same roof in 1988.

In the years since then, other Swatch Group brands - including Swatch, Tissot, Blancpain, Certina, and Rado - have commissioned Swiss Timing to measure events on their behalf.
